Negotiations Update Meeting to be Held for Tollway Members

Teamsters Local 700 will host a meeting for all Illinois Tollway workers at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2 at the V.F.W. in Park Ridge (10 W. Higgins Road). Members will be updated on how negotiations are progressing and will be informed of new healthcare options.

"Negotiations can sometimes be a long process, but we are proud of the positive changes that have already been made," said John T. Coli, Local 700 Trustee. "Meetings like this one help us distribute information to members and at the same time allow members to ask questions of us."

Local 700 representatives have participated in more than a dozen sessions since contract negotiations began in September 2010. Representatives from the Local 727 Benefits Funds will be at the March 2 meeting to answer questions about new healthcare options.
