September 23, 2011 Slew of Cook County Clerk Grievances Resolved A dozen Cook County Clerks will see reduced suspensions and compensatory pay after Local 700 representatives worked to resolve their grievances. Below is a breakdown of the awards. - Five members will see a three-day suspension reduced to a one-day suspension and 16 hours of compensatory pay. - Two members will see a one-day suspension reduced to a written warning and eight hours of compensatory pay. - One member will see a seven-day suspension reduced to a four-day suspension with 24 hours of compensatory pay. - One member will see a five-day suspension reduced to a two-day suspension with 24 hours of compensatory pay. - One member will see a five-day suspension reduced to a three-day suspension with 16 hours of compensatory pay. - One member will see a three-day suspension reduced to a two-day suspension with eight hours of compensatory pay. - One member will see a two-day suspension reduced to a one-day suspension with eight hours of compensatory pay. |
