Local 700 Files Unfair Labor Practice Over IPASS Transponders

Local 700 attorney Chris Schneider filed an unfair labor practice charge regarding the Tollway's plan to remove employer-issued IPASS transponders.

The local awaits the ILRB's issuance of a complaint, after which a hearing date will be set.

In the meantime, the Tollway has agreed to delay implementations of this program pending the outcome of the ILRB's actions.

"For some of our members, this new practice could mean thousands of dollars in tolls. That's essentially a pay cut, and something we're not going to stand for," said William P. Logan, Local 700 President.
